JUST IN: FIFA Bans Nigeria’s Siasia For Life
Former Nigeria’s soccer star, Samson Siasia, has been handed a lifetime ban by FIFA. The former footballer was found guilty of match-fixing by the world’s football governing body.
Siasia, who had two stints as the Super Eagles coach was also fined a whooping $50,000 for the offence. He is alleged to have accepted bribes to fix matches his country played in.
He is the latest African football personality to fall from grace as FIFA wields its power to ban people it deems dangerous to football.
