Newly Wedded Husband Commits Suicide after Wife’s Confession
A South Sudanese man has committed suicide after a harrowing confession from his wife. David Jiet Chawul had the shock of his life when his newly-wedded wife told him she was pregnant for another man.
A former classmate of the deceased took to Facebook to express his moment of sadness. It is apparent he was in disbelief when the sad news reached him admitting the loss of his friend came too fast.
It seems the confession rather came late. His wife kept the paternity of the unborn child a secret and her husband who was overjoyed by the pregnancy hurriedly married her.
However, it seems the woman foresaw a gloomy future thus decided to come out clean. The man felt betrayed by his lovely wife. Contemplating the shame and hurtful feeling, David Chawul committed suicide leaving behind a devastated family still reeling in utmost shock.
