Nigerian Actress, Adesua Etomi Reacts To South Africas Xenophobic Attacks On Foreign Nationals
In the wake of fresh xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa, Actress Adesua Etomi, wife of Singer BankyW adds her voice to condemn the attack.
The actress made a lengthy post on her IG page stating “I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the videos from the recent attacks against Nigerians by some South Africans”

It should be recalled that the fresh attacks started when a taxi driver was shot and killed by alleged drug dealers. The attacks have seen more than five people killed with trucks, businesses, and shops all burnt down to ashes. It has also been reported that some foreigners have been kidnapped with a Ghanaian being injured in the head.
She continued that she cannot bring herself to understand why people are killed because of their nationality. She also added “My mind can’t fathom how the people that spent years oppressed have become the oppressors”

She called on all to use their voices to speak against the attacks and also called on people of influence in South Africa to rise up and speak against the act.
