Nigeria Ranked Third Most Terrorized Country In The World, Ahead Of Syria And Pakistan – Security Expert Reveals

According to the last global terrorism index report, terrorist attacks happen more frequently in Nigeria than they do in Syria and Pakistan.

Chairman of Association Of Licenced Private Security Practitioners Of Nigeria (ALPSPN) Plateau chapter, Chief Edinen Usoroh, disclosed this at a one-day counter-terrorism awareness seminar held today in Jos.

“Nigeria remains the 3rd most terrorised nation in the world, according to the global terrorism index report of 2018… The five most terrorised countries in the world are Iran, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Syria and Pakistan”, he announced.

Mr. Usoroh named Boko Haram as the deadliest terrorist group in Nigeria and expressed dissatisfaction with the inability of Nigerian security agencies to put an end to their reign once and for all. This he said, was as a result of “insider threat”.

“The moment a terrorist establishes a functional contact with an insider, that organisation becomes extremely vulnerable to an attack,” he said.
