If I was a Man, I’d Have a Very Big Crush on Zari – Akothee Admits on Zari’s Birthday

Contrary to rumors of bad blood, controversial singer Akothee claims there is no bad blood between her and Ugandan sweetheart Zari Hassan. In fact, she celebrated Zari’s 39th birthday with a spicy message that described the lady as a beauty who has every man’s heart.

In a long, funny and sweet Instagram post, Akothee detailed how she would have a major crush on Zari if she ever happened to be a man.According to the songstress, the mother of five is a strong, beautiful woman who shakes the ground she walks on and turns heads wherever she goes.

“The candy that every man’s mouth waters for. If I was a man, you would be my everyday crush. Too bad I am straight,” Akothee wrote. To dismiss any rumours of a bitter fallout, the ‘president of single mothers’ said Zari was a friend and close ally whom she cherished.”Just one Zari in my life is enough,” the singer added.

Rumors that the two were not on talking terms started after their highly publicised ‘women’s conference’ flopped. The event which was scheduled for August was postponed amidst allegations that Akothee had started throwing shade at Zari. Akothee however pointed out that the grand event was still on and would take place on a future date that is yet to be announced.
