“Fasting Almost Got Me Killed” Nigerian Pastor, Suleman Johnson Recounts His Ordeal

Suleman Johnson, a Nigerian televangelist, and senior pastor and general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International,  has recounted his ordeal during one of his fasting sections for the anointing of God.

He revealed that even though spiritual fasting is important, one must apply wisdom and be tactful about it. He said he once started passing bloody stool because he went fasting for 11 days without food or water which almost got him killed if not for his timely intervention and use of his wisdom.

The evangelist stated that the search for God’s anointing is crucial but one must also look at the medical aspect of it. He warned that any fasting beyond 7 days is self-styled suicide and that we need to be healthy to serve God.
