News anchor with Accra-based TV3, Bridget Otoo, is on the chopping board after she encouraged women to join forces and deal with men who cheat on them, instead of fighting themselves and letting the ‘he goats’ go scot-free.

She tweeted that: “I have a problem with women who fight other women over boys! If you’ve caught your man with another woman, team up with the woman and deal with the he goat! It’s really is that simple.”

It is unclear what triggered her tweet but it comes few days after a video which captures a lady slapping a gentleman believed to be her roommate’s boyfriend, with flip-flops, for allegedly cheating, went viral.

The said video stoked conversation as some suggested it would have been vehemently condemned if a man rather assaulted a lady in that manner.

Bridget Otoo’s tweet appears to have re-ignited the conversation with several people chastising her and questioning why she would make such a ‘misguided’ statement.
