Serwaa Amihere Rejected Kofi Kapito’s Private Apology- Now Mr Kapito Breaks His Silence

After Serwaa Amihere accused the head of the Consumer Protection Agency, Kofi Kapito (CPA) of sexual harassment, Kofi Kapito has reacted.

According to reports, Kofi Kapito went to the GHOne TV office to apologize in person to Serwaa Amihere in person but the apology was rejected.

Speaking to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Kofi Kapito revealed he has every right to go to any place in Ghana he desires to go with no restraints.

Kofi Kapito further made a comment suggesting he knows Serwaa Amihere very well and he has that “kind of relationship with her” and it is nobody else business how he relates to her.

He referred Abeiku Santana to go back to whoever told him he went to the GhOne TV office to explain to him why he came there.

The genesis of all this brouhaha was when Mr. Kapito made a ‘sexist’ remark about Serwaa Amihere during his presentation at the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards last Saturday.

Reacting to the comment two days later on her Twitter handle, Serwaa Amihere tweeted:

“I had so much respect for Mr. Kofi Kapito. This is a classic case of sexual harassment. I’m appalled by his utterances. This was needless and completely disrespectful!”

Last night, during the prime time news on GHONE Tv, one newscaster, Francis Abban revealed that Kofi Kapito came to their premises to render an apology to Serwaa Amihere but she turned it down. She rather wants a public apology.
