Akothee Reveals The Steps She Took To Support Her Daughter Rue During The Miss Universe Kenya Pageant
Taking to her Instagram page, Akothee revealed how she supported her daughter unflinchingly throughout the pageant and encouraged other parents to do the same for their children.
The modeling industry is a dog-eat-dog world and only the most resilient can survive. Most people assume all you need is a nice face and a great body but there’s more to it than meets the eye.
Most African parents would not support their kids to participate in a beauty pageant because they perceive it as nothing more than glorified prostitution. Kenyan singer Akothee however, has asked parents to lend their support to their children in whatever talent they identify as she did with her daughter Rue Baby.
Celly Rue emerged as the first runner-up in the just-ended Miss Universe Kenya beauty pageant and Akothee couldn’t be more proud of her daughter.
