Nana Ama McBrown: Women Need Money, Love Alone Doesn’t Make Them Happy In Relationships
Anytime the subject of marriage, dating and relationships come up, one conclusion that is certain is that 21st Century relationships are complicated.
Is it love that women want or is it money? This is a question for the gods. But of course, the lived experiences of others have always come in handy to help find answers to such confounding questions.
Celebrated Ghanaian television personality and actress, Nana Ama McBrown has given her take on some of the ingredients that make relationships work, especially to the satisfaction of women.

Speaking to her celebrity colleague Emelia Brobbey in an interview, Nana Ama disclosed that love and money are essential ingredients for happiness in relationships.
She explained that women need money in addition to love in order to be happy. “The secret is, as woman you have to be hardworking. You have to work. Because one thing I know is that when a woman has money, she is always happy within her heart”, she stated.

Drawing a distinction between love in the absence of money, Nana Ama further stated that: Love doesn’t make people happy; there is love, however a man might love you and yet be unable to provide for you.
“Also, a man might love you but because you’re lazy [as a woman] to work, his love for you might fall short.

Nana Ama then concluded that it is only when love and money come into play that women find satisfaction in their relationship. And thus, encouraged them to work hard in order to earn some income.
She said: “So if you are hardworking and the man adds a little bit of love, then you become satisfied.”
