Ghanaians Are Too Judgemental – Kidi Explains Why He Kept His Son A Secret For Three Years

Yesterday Ghanaian singer Kidi made the existence of his three-year-old son known to the world. Many, especially the female fans were surprised and heartbroken.

The “Odo” crooner has explained why he hid his adorable son Zayne Nana Boadi  Dwamena from the public. According to him, he had Zayne when he was 23 years and not mentally ready for the vicious tongues of Ghanaians.

Kidi explained to 3FM that the African mentality towards unmarried couples who have babies out of wedlock and the subsequent hypocritical judgement would have worn him down mentally at the time.

Three years later, a young man with a bit more experience, he feels he can deal with people’s opinions on his personal life without necessarily losing his mind.
