You know the hustle is real when ‘kpakpa’ movers battle for territory. In Ghana, phone swapping is an everyday thing one would see at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.
But while the business is mostly carried out by Ghanaian locals, it seems Nigerians have also come to learn the business is lucrative and gotten themselves involved.
Because of this competition, the Ghanaian section at Circle have clashed with their Nigerian counterparts over the phone swapping business.
They claim the Nigerians have taken over the business completely from them.
