Abeiku Santana Looked Cheap Before Bbn Star, Tacha- Aggrieved Ghanaian Writes

Bbn star, Natacha Akide popularly known as Tacha was in Ghana some weeks ago as part of her meet and greet tour of the country and also because she mentioned that her deceased mother was a Ghanaian.

She was received beautifully by her Titans and some Ghanaian celebrities, one of which is Radio and TV host, Abeiku Santana. Many however had issues with how the disqualified Bbn star was received as they complained bitterly about how Ghanaians do not give reverence to their own.

After weeks of tweets and posts by some celebrities who also didn’t buy the ‘too nice’ treatment Tacha was given, a facebook user, Isaac Kyei Andoh also shared his opinion on why he felt Abeiku Santana appeared cheap before Tacha.

He wrote, ‘WHO WATCHED UTV’S ATUU OVER THE WEEKEND? Sanaaheneba Akua, maybe you have a point though I still disagree. Simply Tacha, Nigeria’s version of Afia Odo/Moesha who went to the Big Brother Nigeria House came to Ghana and the way she was welcomed shocked me.

With a crowd like we received a returning national hero, adowa band and things with a few celebrities featured. In fact, its a welcome that is accorded just a fraction of national heroes and I still don’t get it. Like, what has she done so uniquely to be accorded that super-duper VIP treat.

Abeiku Santana the host looked cheap even though he has accomplished 50 times what the lady has done (what has she done MPO), he kept repeating: historic visit, historic visit, history visit and looked so humbled at her feet. They moved into a waiting Limousine for the interview.

It’s okay to be hospitable and okay to treat visitors with respect but that was way over the top and Ghana looked so cheap in my view. I mean Simply Tacha won’t count as one of the top 200 celebrities in Nigeria. She is just a social media vixen who went to the big brother house. If we can learn to give our people a quarter of the reverence we give to visitors, we will get far’.
