Cardi B’s Meet And Greet Saga: Ghanaian Celebs Lack Confidence- Nigerian Playwright, Joy Isi Bewaji Writes

Cardi B was to meet and greet with Ghanaian celebrities yesterday but the event got rather delayed as the rapper was alleged to have snubbed the many celebs who trooped to the venue to interact with her.

As many felt this could be an organizer’s flop, some of the inpatient celebrities took to social media, attacking and dragging the rapper over what she may not have any idea about.

A Nigerian vocal playwright, Joy Isi Bewaji, in her opinion also feels Ghanaians have been unfair with Cardi B and so has this to say.

She wrote, ‘Cardi B doesn’t know you…But you know her, abi?OK. You walk past her at the poolside while she was chowing… You didn’t say, “Hi”.Nothing! You stay at the other corner waiting for a middleman to come around to do a merger. It didn’t happen.

So, you walk past her AGAIN and didn’t say a word…You say you are angry, you are leaving.OK.Then you come on social media to abuse her, drag her and shame her. You are screaming “Fuck you, Cardi B!”Eish! The chick doesn’t know YOU!!! It is so obvious that this is an organizer’s flop. Not Cardi B’s.

YOU should have done the civil thing after waiting that long! If you got all dressed up to meet someone and they don’t know you, then it’s up to you to do the work if the organizers fail to. Be badass about it. Be confident. Be that bitch!
