Nigerian Bride Calls Off Wedding Because She Found A New Lover She Wants To Marry

A Nigerian lady, whose name has only been identified as Jessica, has done what can only be described as shocking.

Screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation shared by a social media user reveals that Jessica decided to abandon her upcoming wedding because of a new found love.

Jessica who is scheduled to have her white wedding in January broke the news to her husband-to-be that she was longer interested in the marriage.

Narrating how the whole incident unfolded to a friend, Jessica’s husband-to-be revealed that he had already gone to her hometown the previous week for their traditional wedding.

Jessica received a call from her friend and sought permission from her husband-to-be to go and see her.

She left the house at 7pm and returned home at 10am the following day. When asked why she was now returning home, Jessica reacted angrily to the entire scene.

Despite her husband-to-be apologizing although he hadn’t done her wrong, she wouldn’t keep calm. Later when she was calm, she left the house and returned an hour and half after.

It was at this point that Jessica decided to be upfront. She told her husband-to-be that she was no longer interested in the marriage.

Explaining her reason for the decision, Jessica said she had found someone she wants to to marry and not her husband-to-be.

After that, she packed her stuff and left the house. No amount of pleading from her husband-to-be and neighbors could stop her as it seemed she had her mind made up.

Meanwhile, plans for their wedding is far advanced and invitation cards have been sent out to friends and family.
