Akothee, King Kaka and Others who Made the List of Most Respected Kenyans in 2019

A recent survey conducted has brought up a list of the most admired and respected Kenyans in 2019. The list includes politicians, musicians, athletes and even pastors.

Topping the list is Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta. After several complaint about the current state of the economy and the presidency, this truly comes as a shock. Tied at number 2 are Deputy President Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Kenyan rapper King Kaka made it to number 5 on the list. After starting a powerful movement with #WajingaNyinyi, he should have even been on the top 3 slots. He has evolved from being just an artist to a revolutionist.

At number 8 is president of single mothers Akothee. This comes as no surprise. With her candid posts on social media and unfiltered words, Akothee has grown a following that many can only wish for. She is an entertainer through and through.

Others who made it on the list are champion Eliud Kipchoge, governor Mike Sonko, Miguna Miguna and Babu Owino. I must mention that the target population for this survey was Kenyans who are over 18. Furthermore, the sample size was 765 respondents who reside in both urban and rural areas.
