“I Love Nigerian Brands” – Tiwa Savage Shades ‘Original Designer Boss’ Timaya

Singer Tiwa Savage has joined the handful of celebs who have shaded Timaya for his unfortunate comments about fake designer wears and tailors in Nigeria.

Timaya last year chided bloggers who put him in top ten lists of balling celebs, complaining that most Naija celebs wore fake designers and were friends to local tailors. As such, he asked to be exempted from such ludicrous name-calling as he was the only Nigerian who wore original designer.

Following this, several celebs called him out and heavily bashed him for this childish comment. The tall list of celebs who attacked him were actor IK Ogbonna- who stated that Nigerian tailors made the best designs, singer Harrysong – who added that he wore expensive designer outfits himself but that didn’t force him to downgrade those who could not afford such, he also cautioned Timaya to remember his roots, self-acclaimed millionaire Hushpuppi – who went back to back with Timaya on who was the designer boss, and more.

Timaya had without remorse bore the anthem of ‘This life I can’t kee myself’ and gone on to reply all those who bashed him for his unthought of comments.

Well, the latest celeb to sub him indirectly is Tiwa Savage. Sharing a picture on IG of herself bedecked in a pretty African print dress, Tiwa captioned, ” Love nigerian brands .”

Take that Timaya.
