Pictures: Jlo’s Hideous Dress Was More Disappointing Than her Losing at The Golden Globes Awards

Hollywood is ruthless especially when it comes to couture fashion. The 77th Golden Globe Awards was held last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The event awards the best in American film and television. For 2019 productions, Jennifer Lopez was among the nominees. She was nominated for Best Supporting actress for her appearance in 2019 film, Hustlers.

The evening however did not start well for the actress/singer. Upon showing up at the Beverly Hilton, critics took to twitter to trash her choice of dressing.

“Was Jlo styled by Macy’s in leftover Christmas decorations?” read one tweet with another user writing “Jlo had the best recycled wrapping paper dress of the night!”

By the end of the night, Jlo’s disappointment only grew after losing the Golden Globe award to Laura Dern for her feature in film Marriage Story.

Several fans felt Jlo deserved the award and took to social media to air their disappointment. ”Are you freaking serious #GoldenGlobes How TF did Jlo get robbed like that?” read one comment.

Another user went for a low blow tweeting “Jlo lost the Golden Globe because of that ugly dress.”
