The video as shared by one giditraffic had the caption,’The gods have become #marlians already’. A masquerade is a group of people wearing masks and in Nigeria, such people appear during the celebration of festivals and other rituals.

The masquerades are known for their incantations as they dance or sing. The dance was originally introduced by Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile in his single Zanku.

He released the song in 2018 and took Nigerian with a storm, especially the dance that he introduced with the song. The zanku dance is practically by many Nigerians and the lovers of music at large. While some find it so easy to learn and practise, others see it as the most difficult dance and are still doing their best to go by it.
