Popular Ghanaian comedian, Afia Schwarzenegger has fired shots at Nigerian musician Davido, for claiming that his watch worth $30,000 was stolen when he visited Ghana last year December for a show.
The news that made round alleged that Davido’s $30,000 watch was snatched from his wrist by some patrons at the show during his performance on stage.
In fact when the story broke, some sections of Ghanaians didn’t believe it because they felt the act was not typical of Ghanaian people.
Yet, the story made rounds on the internet and social media, but there was no word from Davido as to whether it was true that his watch had been stolen or not.
It’s been about two weeks since the incident and Afia Schwarzenegger has now decided to address the issue.
In a video she posted on her official Instagram page, Afia launched series of verbal attacks on Davido for the allegation that his watch was stolen.
While thinking through what could have been Davido’s motive, Afia asked that: “What was that: insurance fraud, publicity stunt or Nigerians cannot phantom the idea that Ghana is shining? Which one is that Davido? I’m asking for Ghanaians.”
“So you were there, your hand was there and you watch them remove that watch from your hand..they didn’t see your watch in Lagos. And rather Ghana? A whole Nigerian man Davido,” she further stated.
Afia simply could not bring herself to understand that Davio’s watch was stolen. Further quizzing again she sent a message to Davido asking him if it was insurance fraud or he was just trying to be relevant.
As if to suggest that Davido wasn’t truthful with the allegation, the Ghanaian loudmouth asked that: “Who stole your watch? How sure are we that you were wearing a $30,000 watch?”
Towards the end of her attack on Davido, Afia stated that: “Everywhere you go, you lose something, are you that stupid or you were on drugs?”
We eagerly await for Davido’s response and as and when he does, we would definitely keep you posted.
