Trending on twitter at number 2 today is #IStandWithBosibori. Why are people standing with her you ask? Because Kenyans on twitter tore her apart in a cyber bullying thread.

Using a picture of Bosibori looking amazing and another of her looking less than, Twitter users made fun of her with various memes such as these below;

Now, here’s a crucial part in this story; While cyber bullying is absolutely unjustifiable, Bosibori was sadly being treated to a dose of her own medicine.

In December 2019, Bosibori was the one on the bullying end. She tweeted a statement making fun of Kenyan musician Stivo Simple Boy.

She openly made fun of his face in a comment; an action that the musician replied writing “Bosibori this is personal. We will meet someday.”

Most twitter users are calling Bosibori’s current plight karma. In fact, many Kenyans are not taking the #IStandWithBosibori seriously at all.

“I have never seen a stupid hashtag like this. When she was all over the place making fun about Stivo Simple Boy no one cared that he is someone’s son…”

“Swallow the bitter pill Bosibori..you were also body shaming Stivo so don’t bother us here,” wrote one user clearly annoyed by the double standard.

Another user simply wrote “Karma is a bitch..Don’t shout #IStandWithBosibori.”

Indeed cyber bullying has to stop. However, if you ever ‘shoot’ someone on social media, be aware that the same gun will one day be used to shoot you.
