After Two Suicide Attempts Over a Nasty Breakup, KTN Journalist Finally Finds True Love

KTN news reporter Tobias Chanji recently got engaged to his British girlfriend while on vacation in Mombasa.

However, before meeting his fiancee, Tobias almost killed himself twice because of love…rather heartbreak from love.

Speaking to The Standard Newspaper, Tobias revealed that a nasty breakup in 2019 made him become suicidal.

“I had a very nasty breakup last year that nearly pushed me to commit suicide twice,” stated Chanji. He added that meeting his fiancee Madison changed his life.

The two lovebirds met at an airport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and she immediately swept him off his feet.

Chanji said that Madison had also been from a challenging relationship and the two helped each other heal. “Madi is a very nice and beautiful lady and just like me, was also healing from hurt.”

In order to release his feelings and try getting rid of his depression, Tobias Chanji composed a song titled ‘Why Pay Love with Hate’.

It was during the video shoot of his song that Madison tagged along with him. The two spent time together and he eventually proposed.

In the song, Chanji advises Kenyans to stop being malicious to each other. He urges people to refrain from hurting each other especially in relationships.

Part of the song lyrics say “I suffered silently and you thought I was pretending. You hurt me more and I ended up regretting.”

“I was broken, bruised and angry. In this world we are all learners so why pay love with hate,” Tobias sings.

He is now happy with Madison and the two are looking forward to a beautiful wedding and blissful marriage.
