Talking of the year 2020 being someone’s year, this year has definitely started well for the latest Ghanaian musician in town, Bosom PYung.
Bosom became an instant internet and social media sensation after releasing the music video of his song ‘Atta Adwoa’.
His video was shared widely across the internet and instantly went viral on social media.
The ‘Atta Adwoa’ song features a concept where Bosom was just pouring out his feelings to one lady called Atta Adwoa who apparently was his ex-girlfriend.
So many people were interested in the story behind the ‘Atta Adwoa’ song which is now arguably a hit song.
Speaking in a video sighted by AfricaCelebrities.com, Bosom explains the inspiration behind the song.
He said: “The inspiration behind Atta Adwoa is heartaches. [I was] talking for the boys and men, [because] girls break our heart a lot, so I’m representing heartbroken boys.
Speaking of heat breaks, Bosom used the opportunity to make an appeal to women before continuing his narrative.
He stated that: “For so long, girls have broken the hearts of men. Women, please be circumspect in breaking the hearts of men, okay.”
“Atta Adwoa was the first girlfriend I had, my whole life. She was my first take. But Atta Adwoa broke my heart, stepped on it and crashed it to pieces”, Bosom P-Yung continued.
Explaining how the heart break birth the song, he said that: “The whole thing is I trusted her too much. I just went to the studio one time to ‘kicked things; and the first thing I kicked didn’t work so I dropped that work.
Around 4:00 AM, I started doing things and me being alone I started remembering things; like how things weren’t working out, how sad I was and friends leaving me etc.
It was painful. I was emotional and out of my pain I just dropped that [Atta Adwoa]. I just picked everything on the beat.
Perhaps Atta Adwoa leaving him was a blessing in disguise after all. But before he ended, Bosom explained why he was broken after Atta Adwoa left him.
He noted that: “I trusted her a lot. That was my mistake. Even the bible says we shouldn’t trust anyone but I trusted her too much. But she just left me, filled with heartaches.“
