After failing to win the Golden Globes Award for best supporting actress in film, Jlo is finally celebrating a win.

The completed 3rd Annual Hollywood Critics Association Awards recognized Jlo who scooped Best Supporting Actress.

The singer/actress was nominated for the same award at the Golden Globes for her role in 2019 film Hustlers. She however lost to actress Laura Dern.

To add to the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, Jlo has also won other awards for playing Ramona on Hustlers.

She won best supporting actress at the LA Film Critics Association, San Francisco Film Critics Association and the Washington DC Film Critics Association Awards.

That’s not all; She also won and was nominated in the Critics Awards in Austin, Palm Springs, Oklahoma and Seattle.

Despite being on the worst dressed list at the Golden Globes, I’d say the star is doing pretty well for herself when it comes to acting.

Jlo took to twitter to appreciate all the nominations and wins. She wrote “Thank you to the Critics Choice Awards for all the nominations!! Time for some champagne! #Ramona”

The Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Awards for best actor and actress 2019 went to Joaquin Phoenix for his role in Joker and Lupita Nyong’o in Us.

Best Stunt Work at the HCA awards went to ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum while best visual effects went to Avengers Endgame.

Best Horror film was Us, Best Blockbuster was Avengers Endgame and Best action/war film was 1917.

Jlo is now hopeful to be nominated for this year’s Oscar Awards for Best Supporting actress. The nominees list will be release before February.
