Sarkodie Calls On Ghanaian Promoters Abroad To Unite And Support Ghana Music

For an outsider, music is just about going to the studios and coming out with a final product. But the music industry goes beyond the work that takes place in studios.

Just like many other industries, the music industry, is multifaceted. It entails the musicians themselves, producers, sound engineers, promoters, media organizations, distributors and several organized bodies and regulators.

Recognizing that for the music industry in Ghana to thrive, one of such bodies which Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has identified to unite and support the industry are promoters.

Ghanaian music promoters can be liken to the engine of the industry; without them Ghana music cannot travel far.

Against the back drop of most Ghanaian musicians aiming to go international especially and capture the markets abroad, music promoters abroad are very essential to this agenda.

In a social media post on Twitter, Sarkodie called on Ghanaian promoters abroad to unite in this year, basing his call on the notion that their success should be on team effort and not individual effort.
