A video of the National Security Minister, Hon. Albert Kan-Dapaah, in a video call with one mysterious woman who is purported to be his side chick, has gone viral on the internet.

The video, which can be watched here, shows that the mystery woman recorded their video call with another mobile device while they were talking.

In the video, the honorable minister was wearing a pajamas, presumably having woken up from bed, in his hotel and we gather from their conversation that he was away in Europe on a national assignment.

So far, many social media and internet users who have watched the video are calling for Albert Kan-Dapaah to do the honorable thing and resign.

But among the several discussions going on, a conspiracy theory has emerged. According to a staunch member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), the leaked video might just be a tip of the iceberg.

And what is the iceberg, you may ask? For him, he believes the video is targeted at blackmailing the honorable minister.

Rodney Nkrumah-Boateng, as his Facebook user name reads, made this assertion in a social media post on Facebook as follows:

My hunch:

This relatively harmless clip is Part 1.

Part 2 is probably more damning and she will use it as a bargaining tool in a blackmail effort.

Nonetheless, Part 1 is embarrassing especially with regards to the sensitive position he occupies.

Just as the saying goes, coming events cast their shadows. While nobody knows the motive of the leaked video yet, and even the motive of the woman in question, it is clear that the National Security Minister’s image has been hurt.

If indeed this is meant to blackmail him, perhaps his reputation could be tarnished even more given that there are hints from the video which suggests previous interactions- probably worse than seen in the leaked video- have taken place.

In any case, only time will tell if this is in fact a scheme to blackmail the honorable minster.
