Valentines Day is still still a bit far away but the planning for the big day (for some) has already started.

While tour companies and hotels are advertising travelling and dining packages for couples, celebrity couple the Murayas are planning a pricey meet and greet.

The Murayas/ Size 8 and DJ Mo

Gospel artist size 8 and her husband DJ Mo recently announced their valentines event for couples dubbed Dine With The Murayas.

The event which will be held at Emory Hotel is open for dating and married couples. The attendees will wine and dine with Size 8 and her husband for a fee.

Size 8 took to Instagram to announce the dining event and call upon couples to register and pay.

“Come here out stories, our ups and downs and we will also dine together with you and yours.

We will play games galore with your partner, dance and have an open mic for different love birds sharing their testimonies.” Wrote Size 8 aka Mrs. Muraya.

The charges for the couple’s dinner are as follows; regular tickets go for Sh. 7000 while VIP tickets go for Sh. 10,000.

The naysayers to this event took to social media to air their views. They had a lot to say.

“I wonder what VIP will be about. Will she clarify on being beaten and cheated on by DJ Mo?” read one comment on twitter.

Another tweet reads ” Why should I take to them my rent money so that they teach me how to fake a relationship..don’t I respect myself?”

“Why is there a VIP offering…will the others get a reglar story of their relationship while the VIPs get the juicy story with ups and downs?” read yet another comment.

Many people feel like the Murayas are expressing their self-absorbed nature by charging people to dine with them.

However the big question is; Would you and your partner rather spend your valentines day doing a million other things or dine with the Murayas?
