Dressed Like $3.5 Million! Award Winning Actress Lupita Nyong’o Turned Heads in Diamonds,Sequins and Beads

The 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) was recently held on the 19th of January.

Hollywood star Lupita Nyong’o was one of the nominated actresses for an award who also dazzled at the red carpet.

Lupita’s custom gown for the night was a Louis Vuitton design. It was created by creative director Nicolas Ghesquiére.

The dress which turned heads is embellished with 12,000 glass beads and 20,000 sequins.

Its crafting took over 1400 hours to complete not to mention over 106 hours to just cut and assemble the dress.

Lupita’s stylist Micaela Erlanger said “We’ve been working on this piece for months since before Thanksgiving.

We really wanted to harness the elegance and timelessness and modernity that Lupita embodies and values.”

Now for the accessories. Miss Nyong’o was draped in $3.5 million of Forevermark diamonds.

Her statement jewels included chandelier earrings from the Forevermark Black Label Collection. The earrings held 32.78 carats of diamonds.

Her rings still from Forevermark boasted more than 23 carats of diamonds and her two bracelets more than 33 carats.
