Angelique Kidjo dedicates Her 2020 GRAMMY Award To Burna Boy – Video

The 2020 GRAMMY Awards came off last night and celebrated Beninese musician Angelique Kidjo took home the Grammy award for ‘Best World Music’ for her album ‘Celia’.

The category was keenly contested by other great African artists like Burna Boy and Altin Gün but the sensational singer beat them to win her forth GRAMMY Award.

Delivering her Speech, Kidjo decided to dedicate her Award to Nigerian Afrobeat Giant, Burna Boy.

“Four years ago on this very stage, I was telling you that the new generation of Africans are gonna take the world by storm and the time has come. This is for Burna Boy, Burna Boy is among those young artists that come from Africa that is changing the way our continent is perceived.”
