In this topsy turvy economy of us, ones qualification be it a degree, diploma or whatever does not guarantee him or her a job, thus one needs to take advantage of the capitalist economic system of the country in a competitive advantage.

With regards to a picture of a KNUST graduate circulating, africacelebrities.com shares the story of a KNUST graduate who sells roasted plantain locally known as “kokoo” for survival.

Read his reason below:

“I am a businessman who is married with four kids and I have completed my tertiary education at KNUST successful but with no job. I have also submitted my applications to so many companies in Ghana but none of them offered me a job then I decided to create a job on my own.

“I am selling plantain on the roadside. I have my first class in marketing, first in economics etc, just to take care of my family for it’s my prayer that one day I will get a different job because it was my dream to become a politician and I strongly believe that my dream will come to past”.
