Jamaican Dancer Roxanne ‘Bumpa‘ died last week after trying a dangerous stunt with her dance partner during a dancing competition.

27 year old Roxanne and her dance partner Momo were at a dance competition in Lucea when the tragic incident occurred.


According to the event planners, the winners of the competition would walk home with $3,500.

In the video on YouTube showing the moments to Roxanne’s untimely death, she can be seen on her head with her legs parted in the air.

Her dance partner Momo was then suppose to leap over Bumpa in an acrobatic move.

However, when Momo attempted the leap, she ended up landing on top of Bumpa, breaking the dancer’s neck.

According to some reports, Bumpa was still alive few moments after the accident. She was pronounced dead upon her arrival at the hospital.

What most people don’t know is that dancing is a dangerous activity if stunts are not performed carefully. What happened to Bumpa was an unfortunate tragedy.

According to Roxanne’s mother, Momo has apologized for the tragic accident. The entire dancehall family mourns her loss.
