US: White Man Paints His Face To Look Black For Bank Robbery- Photo

A photo of a white man caught on CCTV footage shows he painted his face to look like a black man for a bank robbery in Maryland, United States Of America.

The white man wearing the blackface is said to have robbed a bank on Tuesday, according to the police.

The suspect robbed a PNC bank in Perryville, Maryland, a town about 40 miles northeast of Baltimore, near the Delaware and Pennsylvania borders.

The Perryville police wrote on Facebook that: “We are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured subject.”

Police described the suspect as “a white male, with paint on his face,” who seemed to be in his late 20s to early 30s. They did not specify how much money he may have been able to steal from the bank.

Since the emergence of the photo on social media, commentators have mostly expressed anger at the attempt to perpetuate the notion that black people are criminals.

One commentator said: “He should also be charged for Racism. America has done a great job in criminalizing Blackness such that white criminals are capitalizing on it.”
