One-time Grammy Awards nominee Burna Boy is currently among one of the trending topics on micro blogging platform, Twitter following his recent tweet on why others are sabotaging his success and referring him to be of fame of late.

Damini Ogulu as known for his stage name, Burna Boy got the attention of the internet community after he went on a rant about his fame in the music industry.

Burna Boy dropped words for two-faced people that have enjoyed his music and attended his concerts around 2012-2018, and are still joining others that are claiming he has only been around for two years.

Accoding to him, he is the best thing that has happened to the industry since the death of late Fela Kuti. He also categorically stated that no artiste in the industry paved the way for him to success.

These words caused huge mixed reactions as social media users who disagreed to his assertion took his words on.

In his recent rant, he made a reference to the time when he spoke against Coachella representing his name with small fronts on a poster image. Burna Boy said he prays that people would learn from him.

To state his stands firmly, the ‘Dangote’ crooner submitted that the future of Africa depends on the kind of strength and resilience that he exhibits. He also addressed people that celebrated his loss at the Grammy Awards, noting that he and his family have been striving to get to the top against all odds that came their way.

In conclusion, the singer strongly reiterated that nobody, but Fela, paved the way for him. He said he drew his own map and followed it.
