In most African countries, funerals are attended in black clothes since the color black to them signifies the dark period of mourning or grieving. This, however, is gradually becoming a thing of the past as many people, largely because of fashion now wears any color to mourn with friends in their time of grieve.

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe on her instagram page has shared a rather interesting picture of herself dressed in a gown-like multicolored outfit which could pass for a happy event. But interestingly, she mentioned that she was going to help her friend mourn the burial of his dad.

The actress is best known in Nigeria for her Yoruba indigenous movies and has gradually carved a name for herself in the movie industry. She has two beautiful children, Juwon and Michelle with her Nigerian hotelier husband, Lanre Gentry. Mercy some years ago shared images of a purported abuse by her husband and this is believed to be part of the reason for them going separate ways.
