Man Says Men Who Cannot Cook In His Father’s Family Are Useless

The cliché that says cooking in for only women is one disturbing one. Nigerian societies stick to this stereotype believes that one of the the woman’s place is the kitchen.

On a more serious note, it seems some backgrounds across Nigeria are taking a stand against the belief despite the fact that the popular belief is that a woman must feed her husband no matter what.

One micro blogging platform, twitter user identified as @_smithsydny on his Twitter handle has shared a detail concerning this stereotype in his father’s family.

According to Smith, his father’s family considers it a must for any man to learn how to cook and a male member who proves otherwise is considered useless.
