Self Hate Forced Me To Bleach My Skin – Songstress Mzbel Cries Out

Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known in the showbiz circle as Mzbel, is a Ghanaian Hiplife artist and radio show host who remains as one of the most popular presenters in Accra, Ghana.

The blabber Mzbel Known for her controversial traits is in the blogsphere again following her controversial post on his skin colour.

Interestingly, Mzbel has publicly declared that, he was black in complexion but she changed by bleaching to the light skin that she possesses now. He hinted that poverty forced her to bleach.

The mother of one lamented over her decision to bleach her skin saying that if she had had proper counselling on the effects of skin bleaching.

She said:

I used to think I was ugly. I thought being black is dirty, so I took to skin bleaching and suffered horrible side effects years later. But that is the result of self-hate.

I shared my story and got help, now I’ve learned to say: ‘You know what? I am a beautiful black woman.
