Shake Hands With Coronavirus Patients If You Doubt – Information Minister To Doubters

Following the announcement by the President of Ghana that the government has budgeted an amount of $100 million to fight the novel virus, Coronavirus it was followed by the announcement also by the Health Minister that Ghana has recorded two suspected cases late at night the next day.

Interestingly, this has caused a mixed reaction of a sort among Ghanaians as they suspect the sum and the coincidental news to be fake and as a mean of trying to make away with the said sum somewhere.

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has responded to this mixed reaction and his comment in itself is a mind blowing one that has also sparked the reactions.

In an interview on Onua FM today, Hon Oppong Nkrumah made this reaction:

 “if you don’t believe we have two people with the disease, come, we shall take you to where they have been quarantined for you to hug them and see if you will survive. We should not joke with this in Ghana. If you don’t believe, come and we shall take you to the quarantined people. If we politicize this, it will not save anyone.”
