#CloseGhanaBorderNow – Ghanaian Celebrities Start Campaign On Total Travel Ban In Ghana

The rate at which the virus is spreading as alarmed some celebrities in Ghana to begin an online demonstration for the government to close down borders in the country.

As reported earlier by AfricaCelebrities.Com, Ghana has now confirmed 16 cases of Coronavirus in the span of 9 days.

A hashtag has been developed to petition authorities to close the borders now to prevent more infected persons to enter the country.

Radio and TV personality Abeiku Santana, comedian DKB, Actress Victoria Lebene and controversial personality Afia Schwarzenegger are, to mention few, some of the celebrities who have openly campaigned for the total closure of our borders to travelers.

Abeiku Santana in one of his radio shows begged the President to completely restrict travels to the Kotoka International airport for 2 weeks.

DKB also filmed himself pleading to the government to stop travels by air, land and sea to the country.

#CloseGhanaBorderNow has been trending on social media since the campaign began.
