Accra, Tema, Kumasi, And Obuasi To Be Lockdown
According to stakeholders like the Ghana Medical Association, the Labour Commission of Ghana and other independent organisations, Ghana needs to be in total lockdown.
According to the various stakeholders, the lockdown will be in the best interest of Ghanaians as there are inadequate health facilities to tackle the virus which is fast spreading.
These calls for a total lockdown mean that people must stay in their homes till further notice in a bid to protect themselves from contracting the virus while the government embarks on an intensive disinfection exercise in the country, among other pragmatic measures to bring the situation under control.
Reports surfacing online indicates that the president in his address tonight will instruct for the total lockdown of Accra, Tema, Kumasi and Obuasi where cases of coronavirus have been reported.
