Akufo-Addo To Donate Three Months Salary Into COVID-19 Fund
The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has announced the establishment of a COVID-19 fund to aid in the fight against the virus.
The fund will receive contributions and donations from the general public to help assist in the welfare of the needy and vulnerable and will be chaired by former Chief Justice, Madam Sophia Akuffo.

He made this known during a late night state address on Friday, March 27, 2020.
In his submission, the President pledged his next three months salary i.e April, May and June as his quota to the fund as seed capital.

He also thanked Churches, financial institutions and individuals who have began donations to help battle COVID-19.
