Partial Lock Down In Ghana – See Full List Of Affected Areas

President Akufo-Addo has announced that effective Monday, 30th March 2020 at exactly 1 am, there will be a partial lockdown of Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Areas.

The Lockdown, according to the president is to help curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

The President in his speech declared the lock down will last for a period of two week, subject to review.

He made this statement in a national address on Friday March 27.

Below is a full list of areas to be affected by the lockdown.

In the Greater Accra;

  2. Tema Metropolis
  3. Tema West
  4. Kpone Katamanso
  5. Krowor
  6. Ledzokuku
  7. Adentan
  8. Ashiaman
  9. La-Nkwantanang-Madina
  10. La-Dade-Kotopon
  11. Okaikwei North
  12. Ablekuma North
  13. Ablekuma West
  14. Ablekuma Central
  15. Ayawaso East
  16. Ayawaso North
  17. Ayawaso West
  18. Ayawaso Central
  19. Ga North
  20. Ga West
  21. Ga South
  22. Ga Central
