President Buhari Declares Lockdown In Lagos, Abuja & Ogun To Stop Coronavirus
Just this evening, the President of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari who has the power as the president of the country has declared Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun under lockdown to help stop the spread of coronavirus in the country.
Following the footsteps of Ghana and other countries that have seen the need to do the same, the president was hinted to address the federal republic on the novel pandemic today.
In a live broadcast on Sunday to update Nigerians on steps he has taken to halt it from spreading, the president made the intention known after numerous stakeholder consultation.

Meanwhile, Lagos State has the highest number of coronavirus cases. As of press time, Lagos State had reported 22 cases, Abuja – four, Ogun – two, Ekiti – one and Oyo – one.
