Exercise Wisdom And Patience – Angry Sonnie Badu Spits At Military Maltreating Citizens Under Lock Down – Video

Some parts of Ghana, under the directives of government began observing a partial lock down yesterday March 30, 2020 to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Personnel from the military and other security bodies were deployed to affected areas to ensure citizens follow the laid down rule but as human as we are, they caught some people flouting it.

Yesterday, a video of some military officers issuing all forms of punishment to some citizens for stepping out while they were suppose to be indoor popped up on the internet and has caught the attention of Gospel musician Sonnie Badu.

Dr Sonnie Badu was unhappy seeing the level of torture given to a citizen for disobeying a directive from the President took to his Instagram page to write;

“I really want to urge the military and the police in Africa to exercise wisdom and patience. Let’s understand that this virus has taken everyone by storm so that means it’s not going to be an overnight change. Let’s not use this to bully and toss human beings around, but help them understand the seriousness of this matter … Also remember, there are mobile phones around that could make you trend in a bad way … And oh, pls practice social distancing amongst each other because you are not above the law and clearly this virus is not a respecter of uniform … question, what if that man you are holding has it?
