R.I.P- Another Ghanaian Musician Dies Abroad

The untimely death of another Ghanaian musician abroad has come at a very difficult time when the whole world is battling with the novel coronavirus.

According to multiple sources, one of them being Ghanaian hip-hop artiste Kojo Cue, the musician in question who died is Mahoney P.

While we don’t know yet the cause of his death, it comes as a shock to the entire music and entertainment fraternity both in Ghana and abroad.

What we do know, however, is that Mahoney P died in Holland on Friday April 3 this year.

Accroding to a tweet by Kojo Cue, Mahoney P released one of the first album’s to feature rap in Ghana in 1994.

However, the only reason he doesn’t enter the hiplife originator conversation is because he didn’t call what he did hiplife.

His songs include ‘Ebe Ye Yie’ and ‘ Kyere Me Odo’. May his soul rest in peace.
