This Lockdown Has Saved My Marriage – Popular Gospel Musician Claims
Empress Gifty claims the partial lockdown imposed in some parts of Ghana has not only protected her from the virus but saved her marriage to.
The Ghanaian female gospel musician is married to a politician(Hopeson Adorye) and according to her, there was no chance her husband would have spent quality time with her if not for the lockdown.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, Empress Gifty said she does not recall the last time she spend more than a week with her husband in the their matrimonial home.
“For the past year, we haven’t had time for each other so this lockdown is good for both of us. This is the time we are together and free from our busy schedule.”

She also shared some of the things they engage in as a couple on a daily basis as the lockdown continues.
“It has made him understand the calling of the ministry upon my life and it has drawn him closer to God. Seeing my husband pray with me and keep me in check makes me very happy,” she said.
