Ghana Health Service Confirms 408 Coronavirus Cases As Death Now Remains 8

According to reports from the Ghana Health Service, 30 additional cases has confirmed in the country, AfricaCelebrities.com reports.

As of today, April 11, 2020, the list of regions that have reported cases of coronavirus includes; Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central, Eastern, Northern, North East, Upper East, and Upper West.

According to the Ghana Health Service Directorate in their latest reports, of the 408 cases, 205 were reported from routine surveillance, 88 from enhanced surveillance activities and 115 from travelers under mandatory quarantine in both Accra and Tamale.

In the update, the Ghana Health Service said,

“As of 10 April 2020, a total of 27,346 persons have been tested with 408 being positive for COVID-19. The breakdown of the 408 positive cases is as follows: four have been treated, discharged and have tested negative, 394 cases have been categorized as mild disease on treatment, two moderate to severe cases, none currently on ventilators and eight have died.”
