Nigeria Loses Ace Broadcaster And Actor Yomi Obileye
The Nigerian entertainment industry mourns as another iconic actor passes.
Barely 6 months after the death of actor Pa Kasumu, veteran actor Yomi Obileye has succumbed to an undisclosed aliment.

The actor was famed for his role in the 1997 movie ‘Hostage’ and ‘Palace’ a soap opera which featured Jide Kosoko, Antar Laniyan and Tunji Bamishigbin.
Yomi Obileye was announced dead on Friday morning by Nigerian comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka on Instagram.

Gbenga Adeyinka wrote on his Instagram page “If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again.”
“Rest In Peace Uncle Yomi OBILEYE . Thanks for the memories. I can’t help but want to watch “HOSTAGES” again. Sleep well Egbon and May God give your family and fans the fortitude to bear the loss.”
