As part of measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease in Nigeria, the government proscribed the gathering of many people. This in effect culminated in the close down of schools, markets and religious places of worship.

During a programme dubbed Covenant Hour of Prayer which was broadcasted from The church’s headquarters in Otta, Ogun State to his congregation, the preacher alluded to a suspicious motive as to why the church remains closed.

He explained he had a vision in which God revealed to him that the reason the church remains closed is to stifle its expansion and push it to obscurity. He demanded for the churches to be opened since that’s where people run to when they need healing.
