COVID-19: Fear Grips Nigeria As Cases Reach 2950 And 98 Deaths
Coronavirus cases in Nigeria has now reached 2,950 with 148 new cases recorded as at May 5, 2020, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The death toll has also risen to 98 and 481 patients have recovered and discharged.
Out of the 148 new cases, 43 was recorded in Lagos, 32 in Kano, 14 in Zamfara, 10 in Abuja, 9 in Katsina, 7 in Taraba, 6 in Borno and Ogun, 5 in Oyo, Edo,Kaduna and Bauchi recorded 3 cases each as well as 2 each in Adamawa and Gombe, Plateau,Sokoto and Kebii also recorded 1 cases respectively.
