Man Evacuated From Dubai Dies From Coronavirus Complications
A 32 year old man who was part of the recently evacuated Nigerians from Dubai has succumbed to the coronavirus disease.
Prof. Akin Abayomi, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, made this known this evening via his Twitter handle.

He also added that the deceased had an undisclosed health condition which exacerbated his situation culminating in his demise.
The Nigerian government last week evacuated some 256 citizens from Dubai, United Arab Emirates as part of efforts to shield it’s citizens from the disease.
Upon arrival on May 6th, they were sent to isolation centres in Lagos for the mandatory 2 weeks quarantine.

The south-western state has confirmed 1,933 coronavirus cases with 502 recoveries and 33 deaths.
